Tim Piper did a great job of telling John Lennon's story. The music was spot on and touched upon Lennon's entire catalog....not an easy thing to do in just two short hours. We also learned a lot about what made Lennon tick as a performer and as a man, and as good as the music was, that part may have been even better. The venue was intimate....not a bad seat in the house, and the backing visuals enhanced, but didn't overpower Tim's performance. This was a great value for the money and we highly recommend it.

Go,Go,Go!!!...................It is hands down, one of the greatest performances you will ever!! See. Mesmerizing, time travelling, a journey of tears, joy, peace, words don,t even come close. Perhaps the title of the performance is best apt to describe it, and what you should bring to it, as a member of the audience, "Imagine" Don't hesitate for a moment, don't.

Thoroughly enjoyable! The band was tight and even though were faithful to the songs, often took them a notch above and beyond. Piper's characterization of Lennon was heartfelt and spot on. We had great seats just 6 rows back in the center. Even though free ear plugs were available in the lobby, the sound never got too loud, and the mix was perfect. Highest rating!

This was such a FANTASTIC show!! We had great seats (front four rows, center section). If you really want an "up close and personal" experience, sit in the front row as Tim Piper walks into the audience and interacts with people in the front row. Tim clearly knows John Lennon's story inside and out as he conveys the backstory of a lot of what was going on in Lennon's life. Tim's voice and energy very much capture the essence of Lennon. The transitions between story and song are seamless and the writing and performing are very creative and clever. Even if you are VERY familiar with the Beatles and Lennon, you'll find some new tidbit to relish. And if you're not as familiar with the Beatles, you'll really enjoy the educational experience.

The entire band-- YES, there's a full band of VERY TALENTED musicians, including the incredible Morley Bartnoff (who has his own project, Cosmo Topper) on keyboard -- was INCREDIBLE. If you're sensitive to sound, you might want to bring earplugs as this is a regular concert event.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You will be touched, inspired and impressed. I was told the show will run through the end of May, and could be extended through June if there is enough demand. I want to tell EVERYONE about this show.

An outstanding show. It's like watching the best magic act ever. He really pulls off the illusion that he is John Lennon.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tim Piper is awesome. He imitated John Lennon to perfection. When you see his appearance and hear his voice, it's as though you are actually seeing John Lennon live. The band was great! If you are a Beatle fan, I truly recommend you see this show, and if you're not, again, I recommend you see the show. It was a spectacular event. Would love to see it once more.

We've seen it two times now and each has been outstanding. Tim changes the show just a little each time so nothing gets old. His backup band is one of the best. Needless to say, we're going again.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Such a wonderful way to go over the highlights of John Lennon's life from a different perspective. The music was so uplifting, and we really believed it was John! Every seat in the house is a good one, the band is great. Made a great mother's day gift! La Fonda is right next door!

I took the whole family for Mother's Day, including my two sons, 10 and 7, my husband, and my mom and dad. We all thoroughly enjoyed the show. It is unique; a concert and virtually a one man show with a back-up band (that was amazing). The one man, of course, being Lennon. Piper did an A+ job of channeling Lennon back from the dead to recant life, love and explain himself, with his music breaking up the short monologues. It was impressive. Nice small venue. Intimate. Yes it's loud. It is rock n roll! There are free ear plugs for those more sensative, like my little guy. But we all loved it!!!! You may want to think about the songs you would like to hear as there is a time when he takes requests, as he doesn't cover some favorites (Dear Prudence, Girl, Balad of John & Yoko, etc.) in the show, but would if requested when he comes out into the audience to take requests, which is a real treat. Piper/Lennon even sang some lyrics with my 10 year old, which was magic. Luckily he knows all the words to even the most obscure beatles songs, so he was prepared for this sweet duet. Priceless Mother's Day moment!!!!!!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Really fun! Loved the concept of John looking back. Excellent musicans. Put on a great show with lots of insight into John's life. 5 guys giving it up. We were running a lil late and they waited for us.

2014 Summer of Love - Audience Reviews

I was impressed with the intimate atmosphere of "West Valley Playhouse". I had a front row seat and was hoping for a good show. Well the total experience of this show blew me away, from Tim Piper and his band to the story they told of John Lennon's life. As close as you can get to actually meeting John. I would definitely encourage anyone to see this show.

I just wanted to say what a fantastic time we had at the Just Imagine show last weekend. So beautifully written and presented. And then there is just good ole rock and rock and roll from some very talented musicians. I was transfixed throughout. Tim Piper is the perfect guy for this tour of magic and mystery. Bravo!!!

I have seen the show several times before last Saturday night but wanted to take my new girlfriend and another couple. As always, Tim and company never disappoints! Another powerhouse show with high energy and total entertainment. My girlfriend and friends loved it!!!!
I would highly recommend "Just Imagine.

I bought the tickets as a client gift so they can't directly respond, but the feedback I got after they went, they loved it, the music was great, the 'story' very profound, found it a very moving experience and said they would tell everyone they knew to go and see this show. CAn't get much better than that. And I've seen the show, hence the reason I give tickets to clients, can't agree more. Tim Piper is phenomenal, along with the band.

I will admit, this was not my first time seeing the show. This was probably my 12th or 13th. That is how good Tim Piper is as John Lennon. The band behind him is exceptional and you leave the theater feeling as if you spent the evening with John himself. It's a must-see for any theater goer and for any Beatles or Lennon lover.

Show was incredible. He IS Lennon. Music is great. Theatre is very comfortable and great sight lines. Would do it again.

This is the 2nd time I've seen "Just Imagine" and once again I went on a wonderful journey back in time. Tim Piper embodies John Lennon. It's a look behind the man and toe tapping uplifting evening. Will see it again..... with more friends.

What a fantastic show! Part biography, part concert, "Just Imagine" pairs stories from John Lennon's life with the songs they inspired. Tim Piper is simply enthralling as Lennon, capturing the iconic musician's voice and mannerisms. His transformation is absolutely complete. Piper portrays Lennon with such great honesty, not only during the biographical portions, but also during the songs. The songs are excellently performed by Piper and his band, but what elevates the experience is the undercurrent of emotion that fills each tune. The audience is given a new context for the songs through the stories behind them, turning them into true pieces of theatre. The band was perfect and did the songs justice. Everyone onstage looked like they were having a blast, as did everyone in the audience. There are bits of audience participation sprinkled throughout as well, mostly in the form of sing-along moments. From start to finish, everyone watching the show was tapping their toes, bobbing their heads to the beat, and silently mouthing lyrics to the songs. So opening certain portions to the audience was very satisfying to those watching! Lennon/Beatles fans, don't let this one slip by! It's not often that one gets to hear these songs performed live nowadays, and that alone is reason enough to catch "Just Imagine." Piper's evocative performance and the journey through Lennon's personal and professional life through which he takes the audience makes this a must-see. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Limited run only. Don't miss it!

Had a great time.Tim Piper plays an excellent John Lennon. Anyone who is beatlefan should see his performance.

Great time and great experience overall!

Great show! Seats were reserved and excellent.

Tim Piper creates the experience of reliving John's life historically and I felt like I spent the evening with John Lennon. The background film brought the 60's through 80's back to life. He not only sounds like John Lennon, he looks very much like him. Standing ovation at the end.

What a fun evening. He was amazing as John Lennon

The show was a rock n'roll delight. I really didn't realize how many songs the Beatles wrote and played. The play and the venue are perfect and have street parking.

Nice venue, friendly folks, good show, nice energy, well performed--very enjoyable!

Better then expected. Wonderful music, great
Portrayal of John Lennon. comfortable venue/ very accessible/ enjoyable for many generations.

Creative storytelling augmented with Beatles music. A must see for even minimal Beatles fans. Discusses all aspects of John's life, the good and the bad.

My son loved the show...I have never seen anyone clap as hard as he did last night. Tell Tim Piper not only was the show a smash but he held the attention of an 8yr old boy for the entire show ! Tony has been talking about the show all morning, He asked how John Lennon died and was very upset when he learned how it all happened. Forty years later and another generation of fans, amazing. We sat on your side of the stage, in the back, near the 2 girls who danced through the show. We had a great time and you all sounded great !!!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The whole proformance was authentic and real for me as I relived the 60's and 70's and was amply educated about a life that still seems so mis understood. The presentation was intimate and dynamic and the background graphics and movies were equally entertaining. I would highly recommend this show to anyone

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fantastic!! Every seat is good. The likeness to Lennon was almost erie. Drummer was amazing. Band was great. Good times for family, especially son who loves guitars.

We loved the music, the inside information as to who John Lennon was from childhood to adult and how personal his songs and what they related to. We felt like we were listening to John Lennon. the band was terrific. Having the digitalized screen really helped to enhance the whole show.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Excellent show. Brilliantly done. This needs to be on Broadway, not that crap RAIN!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This was really, really an enjoyable event. Pretty amazing little theater formerly known as the Vagabond. Tim Piper was in his element and had the audience in the palm of his hand. He took us for a mystical magical ride and we didn't want to get off! Go enjoy a great evening of theater. All seats have great lines of sight, even the very last rows as well as the sides.

Intimate setting; every seat in the house a good one. AMAZING show, we all loved it, took us back in time and the band rocked every single song. A MUST SEE FOR BEATLES/JOHN LENNON FANS! Am going again to take my son!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I cannot imagine anyone doing it much better. Piper captures the spirit of Lennon in the 2-hour show, not shying away from the contradictions in his personality or the tragedy and hardships of his formative years.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As for the musical re-creations, they're pretty terrific. You may have never heard a live Beatles version of "I Am the Walrus," but backed by an expert band, you get a pretty rockin' version of what it might have been like. From the early Beatles years through "Double Fantasy" all eras of Lennon's career are musically covered, with stories and narration to round out and deepen the experience. And when Piper comes out in the audience with acoustic guitar to take requests and sing masterpieces like "In My Life," the results are intimate and sublime.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Don't be concerned about getting the cheaper "Cavern" seats on the side. They're all good in this inviting 200-seat venue.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a wonderful show, with a good narrator, who relates the life of John Lennon. He provided context and meaning to familiar lyrics. The story is peppered with lots of Beatles and Lennon songs, expertly performed. He not only captures the sound and spirit of John Lennon, but also looks alot like him. I especially liked the sing-a-long portion of the program. I took out of town guests, and we all loved it.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I thought I would like this 'concert' but I loved it! If you grew up listening to the Beatles, you will totally enjoy yourself. Learned more about John Lennon than I ever knew or have since forgotten. Interesting and fun. He brought the audience into the show. Venue has ALL good seats, very intimate.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I truly enjoyed this event. The theater was very quaint...just the right size. We set at the Abbey Road section which is in the front center of the theater so we had an excellent view of the entire show. We even shook hands with the performer who did an excellent job singing all John's song and explaining his life story. There were times you could even imagine that it was John himself speaking. I would recommend this show for any John Lennon or Beattles fan, young and old.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

John Lennon as he might have been had he lived to a riper old age. The song selection was wonderful. There were even a few songs unfamiliar to the audience. The noise level is LOUD, so be forewarned. It is a rock n roll concert, after all!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We loved it so much we've already purchased tickets for another performance.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I LOVED this show!!! I learned about John Lennon's life while enjoying the great music! I felt like I was in the presence of the real Lennon. Small theatre - all seats were great. The acoustics were outstanding. I took my son, who is a drummer, and he loved show also.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This was a very good show. Loved it, learned a lot about John Lennon and his life, and how it affected his music. Performers were all professionals and as I already have mentioned, gave a good show!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tim piper is the man!Awesome show, second time seeing him. I took my sister for her birthday she loved it.she took me to see the beatles love show in vegas last month and i told her that she had to see Just Imagine.her and her husband loved it.HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOW

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I enjoyed every moment of it. The five piece band fronted by Tim Piper as John Lennon was excellent and had the crowd singing along. They played many of the popular songs and some not so well known. But what I enjoyed the most was the narrative of John Lennon's life from his childhood, through the early years of the Beatles, beyond the breakup and his life with Yoko Ono. Many of the details were new to me. The visual effects were wonderful. The theater was intimate and there were no bad seats, but being in the third row in the center was a special treat.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Absolutely fabulous! A perfect mix of music and theater. It gave me chills. All of the musicians were top notch. Tim had it down pat. He enveloped and embraced John completely...and when we ran into him about an hour later outside the theater, he couldn't have been more friendly and down to earth. I wish him and the show every success! I LOVED it!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This was actually my third time seeing the show! I loved it again! Wonderful tribute to John Lennon! Each time I've gone with different people (this time it was a girls trip) and now they are excited about bringing their husbands!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was a great show. We were very pleased we chose to go.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

great show. the dude is a class act. i will go again.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

great show for john lennon fans or not the band played very good had lots of fun worth it!!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Very moving performance. Tim Piper captured the essence of John Lennon brilliantly, and turned what could easily have been a "cheesy" production into an emotional look at the life of a legend. Musicians were terrific and engaging, as well.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Great presentation in a very intimate location.... Every seat in the house is just as accessible to the show as Piper was with the audience. I took my 14 year old son for his birthday and mentioned to me that this event was one of his best gifts ever... Long Live a Legend... John Lennon

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Great. Intimate setting, every seat was a great seat. The sound system was excellent. The performance was excellent. This show should be on Broadway.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tim Piper WAS John Lennon! We were so amazed at the details given about John in this performance (which made the show very unique), as well as the musical talent by Piper and the band. We truly felt like we were seeing John perform his last concert. Great intermission where Piper grabbed a guitar and took requests from the audience...I only wish someone had requested Jealous Guy! Great show! We would definitely go see it again!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The show was more than what I expected. The video backdrop certainly added to enhance the performance and hats off to the band members who were outstanding! The Hayworth is a perfect intimate theatre for this and any seat in the house is fine. Don't miss this!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Imagine production was Fantastic. Its like a play and a concert combined into one. The man who portrayed John Lenon was GREAT....he was very intereactive with the audience and if one didn't know better you would swear it was really John Lenon on the stage, he looked and sounded like him. I'm so glad that my friend recommended me to go see this production! :)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tim Piper did an amazing job as John Lennon. His voice and charisma were incredible. He truly broke through the 4th wall and made himself totally accessible to the audience..who loved him. A real high point was having the crowd (very willingly) sing a Lennon/McCartney song along with him. It did seem for a moment that John was in our midst and we had the miraculous good fortune to actually harmonize with a legendary Beatle. If you're an old loyal fan or new young one, you will enjoy...JUST IMAGINE

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The show was awesome. Besides giving the John Lennon story, it's also what one would imagine a John Lennon concert would be like if he was still around and performing. Having seen Paul many times over the years, it was nice to focus on all of the great songs that John was responsible throughout the Beatles and his solo career.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Time Piper did an amazing job as was his band. This is a must for any Beatle fan.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I waited a long time to see this show and it was well worth the wait! Tim Piper is absolutely amazing as John Lennon, you actually get the feeling that it is John Lennon talking and to you. The show started at 3:20 and Tim not so much as had a drink of water or wiped the sweat from his face the whole time, he never left the stage until the very end for a quick change of clothes. If there is one negative it is that the music was too loud for such a small venue, but your ears eventually get used to it. Anyone who has a chance to see this show should buy their tickets now because this shw will one day be appearing in Vegas, my prediction!!!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This was a really good show. The band was great, so fun hearing beatle songs done well, and some good background into john lennon's life. A couple of things i didn't know. Band started out too loud for the little venue so i got worried (no earplugs on me) (and i'm a drummer), but they seemed to fix it after the first couple of songs and the level was fine. Guy playing lennon did a credible job . I thought the writing could have been better - john was so witty and sardonic, and he didn't capture john's essence. But he was charming , good performer, good singer. And the beginning was a little jarring, to start where they did, on such a downer... and the segueway to the story was not great. But i'm nitpicky here. We had a really good time, recommend this.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Imagine production was Fantastic. Its like a play and a concert combined into one. In fact I loved it so much I purchased a t-shirt for $20- and will go again for Free on another day, they had that offer available when I was at the theatre. All 4 of us had a blast :)/singing along with the music, etc. Tim Piper got the audience to sing along with him..it was GREAT :)!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My wife and I enjoyed this show very much it is a very intimate place best two hours, loved it. gonna see it again with my brother we are huge john lennon fans. Musicians are incredible! very well put show.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We absolutely loved this show. The star Tim Piper (is it?) who looked and sounded just like Lennon, took the audience back in time for an intimate view of the Beatle's life and times. Great time; worth it completely; took our two daughters who loved it just as much as we did!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I felt we really watching John Lennon himself. The video in the background made it feel that much more real. If you like the Beatles and John Lennon this play is a must!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just Imagine is JUST AMAZING!!!! Tim Piper looks and sounds incredibly like Lennon and not only puts on a great performance and tells the history of Lennon and the Beatles but is SO personable!!! If you are a fan of the Beatles and Lennon this is a MUST SEE SHOW!!!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A splendid time is guaranteed for all!!!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I thought I was watching John Lennon...Excellent show....I recommend it highly....The music was great

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The theater is only 200 seats, so there really are no bad seats. He did a spectacular job as John. His singing was great, the band was great, and the story was very touching.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This was a great evening of good music and fond remembrances! Delightful experience. It made me wonder what John would be like now as he was still evolving when we lost him.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Great show! Gave me a better insight to John Lennon.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wow! Really fun, informative and inspiring. right on capture of Lennon's dispostion. Music was fantastic.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sound in innovation, performance, tech, musicality... altogether a fresh piece of work and a brave undertaking with a subject so overdone... but it was a very nice experience, and the decision not to have an intermission is what saves it from seeming too long. I seldom give 5's... and have a natural antipathy to "tribute bands" even when the music is spot on. The band was remarkable and the drummer, like ringo, was rock steady.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A must see show if you are a Beatle's fan!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've been looking for Tim Piper to return as John Lennon since I saw "One Night Only" a few years ago. He is awesome as John Lennon. You really can "just imagine" that you're spending an evening with John, and it's about the most fun ever! The music was fantastic, and Tim Piper is the best Lennon impersonator EVER. Don't miss him!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Excellent. Enjoyed both the music selection, quality of the performance and the historical accuracy and details.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thoroughly enjoyed (except for pre-show incense burning); Mr. Tim Piper performed excellently, interacted with the audience. No bad seat in the house. Highly recommend, even if not a 100% Beatle fan.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We loved it! Piper was awesome...It was great listening to john lennon's masterpiece. See this show even if you're not into his music; you'll appreciate good music! MUST SEE : )

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I enjoy this show with my daughter. It was like a history lesson with music. i think she came away learn something with music, which will leave an impression forever. Take your kids they will learn something about history and enjoy it.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We absolutely loved this show. The star Tim Piper (is it?) who looked and sounded just like Lennon, took the audience back in time for an intimate view of the Beatle's life and times. Great time; worth it completely; took our two daughters who loved it just as much as we did!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What an incredible and surreal experience Just Imagine is. Just imagine if John Lennon was able to come back for a short time, tell his story and have a jam session with an intimate audience. That is exactly what Just Imagine does. Tim Piper definitely did his research on John. He looks likes him, sounds like him and acts like him; so much that you swear he's John. Just Imagine is just wonderful!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I felt we really watching John Lennon himself. The video in the background made it feel that much more real. If you like the Beatles and John Lennon this play is a must!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Awesome show, go see it!!!It was like a live concert and a hsitorical look behind the songs and the man at the same time. The venue is small so there really is not a bad seat in the house:) Dinner next door at La Fonda is fun before and after the show too!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The show tonight blew my boyfriend and I away. We had no idea what we were in for! It was a very emotional and intimate show with lots of good fun. I look forward to seeing the show again soon. Thank you all

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

An evening of great entertainment. Loved the songs, the videos, Tim Piper's mannerisms. I felt as though I were spending time with the real John Lennon. Very personable. Included the audience in his performance. Every seat provides a good view of the stage and performer. The time just flew by. For a few hours, I forgot about my own concers and just had fun!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you want to sit close, go ahead and pay the extra money but it surely is not necessary. No matter the price, GO SEE THIS if you are a Beatles or John Lennon fan. The show is in a funky, and I do mean funky, old theater in the Wilshire district, but was the perfect venue for this intimate journey through John Lennon's life, from little boy to victim of a senseless murder. The band backing Tim Piper perfectly replicated the familiar songs you hear. Seriously, once the show began, you were immersed in all things John Lennon. I would encourage anyone to go see this..may have to see it again myself!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Love your show! It’s just incredible... superb!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I totally loved it! Great performance. I went last time they came in Studio City and I was impressed. However, this year the venue was not soo great but still worth watching.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Loved it. Tim truly channels John Lennon ... Loved it.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tim Piper did an amazing job as John Lennon. His voice and charisma

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I totally enjoyed the show, the music incorporated in the story line. I feel like John was telling his story in person. The band was great, they played all the songs just like how I remembered. I fell in love with John (performer) when he looked at me and sang his love song to me.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Great impersonation of John Lennon! His life story, and the Beatles story, was blended well with the music and imagery. The guy even came out into the audience to do requests for other songs. I loved hearing, "A Day in the Life" live for the first time ever. It's a very small and intimate venue, so any seat is a good one.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

great show, great trip through John Lennons life packed with music you couldn't help but sing along, a warm and friendly environment, cozy theatre

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tim Piper as John Lennon was very good! They cover music from John Lennon’s entire career. I liked the fact that they had a small bit of story along with music & original video. At one point Tim entered the audience with only a guitar and took requests and played a few songs solo. Anyone could have requested any song they wanted and Tim Piper nailed them all! All the accompanying musicians were very skilled and played incredibly well. If you are a Beatles fan treat yourself and go! Any seat in the house is good!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I went with my mother, who really loves John Lennon's music and husband and absolutely loved the show! It was very informative, since I was not aware of all the info on John Lennon's life. I loved the music as well and really enjoyed the energy of Tim Piper!! Everyone should go see it!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you like John Lennon, you will absolutely love the show.

Great show! My mom and I wanted to see this show when it was in Studio City but missed it. We were so happy to see it returned to the Los Angeles area. Tim Piper made you believe he was John Lennon and Morley Bartnoff aka Cosmo Topper was awesome! There was only two things I didn't like about the venue - the theatre was filled with inscence smoke because the womens restroom was backed up and the air conditioning either wasn't on or not working because it was too hot the entire show.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Excellent...so real....the actor who performed as John Lennon was outstanding. The band was great I felt as though I had gone back in time. Loved it.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! UNCANNY!! DONT MISS IT!!!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Stunning! I can't wait to go back and bring friends! Tim Piper is an incredible "John Lennon" and the entire
band (Greg Piper, Don Poncher, Morley Bartnoff and Don Butler) are outstanding,
and really rock!! I was brought to tears several times and truly had a chance to "just imagine...."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you are a Beatles fan, you will absoutely love it...if you are in particular, a John Lennon fan, you will want to see it all over again immediatley. Recently I saw the movie based on his life, Nowhere Boy, and it made me appreciate him all that much more..

Just wanted to let you know we throughly enjoyed the show on Sunday! You've got an incredible band & great to see how much fun you were all having on stage...can clearly see you all love music!
Angela
------------------------------------
I am writing to tell you how absolutely amazing your show was on Saturday night. We loved it so much it is hard to describe. Our entire group won't stop raving about the show. They were so impressed with you
r talent. Not just Tim but the entire band!! They thought Tim did an amazing job and they thought it was a million times better than what they expected and they expected it to be really good already. WOW! Incredible! Thank you so much for one of the best evenings of my life. I will never forget Tim down on one knee singing "If I Fell" to me......The Best!!
Terry
------------------------------------
I am a HUGE Beatles an. So, for me to have loved this is really a compliment. I loved every minute of it. Tim Piper is extraordinary! These are not Beatles "wannabes." They are telling the story of John Lennon with such respect that even John Lennon would love it. I hope this show goes country-wide so that all Beatles fans can see it.
Goldie

The event was wonderful. The energy of the performer and the lovely venue were both great. I would highly reccomend this to my friends.
Marcy
--------------------------------------
Very eclectic mix of songs including Julia, glass Onion and Cold Turkey which for me was a treat after hearing the same tunes over and over... although the favorites were all still there. The story of Lennon's life was nicely woven in between tracks and of course left you with that nostalgic tear jerking feeling towards the end of his life.
Neal
-------------------------------------
The music was fun and brought back memories. The only thing missing was Yoko. I left with a much better prespective on what life as a Beatle must have been like, with all the ups and down. I would recommend this show to any Beatle and John Lennon fan. :)

We went to see "Just Imagine" last weekend. Needless to say, the show was tremendous and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Greg emanated pure joy when he was on stage, and it was just contagious. (what a bass player!)  His brother really "was" John. The show felt to me like a much needed reminder of the beauty and the message of the Beatles. You know, we've all heard the songs so many times, and I grew up singing and playing their music as so many did, but it's easy to forget--the message and the meaning. It was the wake up call I needed, as I had been feeling bummed out lately. What a special show.
Amy
-------------------------------------
Very talented musicians who you could tell LOVE what they do! I particularly liked the way the show was separated into Beatles and post-Beatle timeframes. Very enjoyable trip down memory lane. It is hard to believe John has been gone almost 30 years. He definitely left us too soon. Tim Piper was excellent as John.
Audrey
-------------------------------------
This was one of those magical events that I was looking forward to, anticipated, and had positive hopes for which surprisingly EXCEEDEED my own expectations! The acting, music, band, writing, historical film clips were all woven together to present a true anthology and retrospective that brought John alive for the evening. Thank you! The coolest part is that we paid half price from those around us. The venue is very comfortable and nice. Not a bad seat in the house, and we were in the Abbey Road section right center stage. Marvelous.
Andy
---------------------------------------
What a fabulous show. You guys honored The Beatles while still bringing all of who you are to the project. Great to hear John's "voice" again. Not just in song but in his story. Which we all know and for many years was just too painful to hear. But now it is like visiting an old friend. The essence of John was heard and the band was FANTASTIC in every, small, specific, wonderful, blasting, rocking way!
Congrats to all! Your hard work was a pleasure to behold. Pure entertainment.
Lennon Lives! All that matters is THE MUSIC!
Tom & Dorothy

The show was very enjoyable...learned some inside info about John too. Anyone who is a Beatle fan will love the show. The venue was great. No bad seat in the house. Seating in the section paid for is first come. A great evening.

Just wanted to say thanks for a great performance of Just Imagine last Sat, the 13th! I'd heard so many positive reviews of the show that I couldn't wait to attend and experience it for myself. Brought my wife and 2 daughters (one of whom enjoyed you picking on her) and they loved it too. Instead of having to listen to KIIS-FM on the drive home they actually asked to hear John Lennon songs which, trust me, says more than you can imagine! Most moving part of the show was "Mother", especially given the introduction. You definitely have the scream down! Was totally impressed with the wall of sound the 5 of you generated on "Strawberry Fields" and "Walrus". The "acoustic" songs during the intermission were a nice touch, really engaged the audience and added some levity. Made it interactive too by allowing us to shout our requests (thanks for doing mine btw, If I Fell). I can tell you guys love playing "I Want You/She's So Heavy"! Never heard it done live before but looked like a blast to play. And then the other touching moment was "Imagine".
Dave
-------------------------------------------
I've seen the show twice now. My husband and I enjoyed it so much we decided to bring the whole family, and we will probably be coming back with other people.
Billy
--------------------------------------------
This is an ABSOLUTE MUST SEE for any John Lennon fan, Beatle fan, or any music fan in general. Even those who know nothing about John Lennon will learn a lifetime of information and get to see a glimpse of what it was like see John perform Live. Truly stunning authenticity and a moving one man show. So well done. One of the best shows running in LA right now ---go see it!!!
Phil
---------------------------------------------
The show was great, and I even learned a bit about John Lennon. We loved sitting on the side of the wacky keyboardist.
Kyle
---------------------------------------------
Outstanding evening. We felt as if John Lennon had come back for one final performance. The music was great and the venue was terrific. We highly recommend this event and will probably go see it again.
Al
----------------------------------------------
I took my husband for his birthday, along with some friends. We had a great time. The show's manager came out to say hello and was very cordial to us. We arrived early and were upgraded near the stage; nice touch. well as his band. There were a lot of interesting facts we learned about John Lennon's life; especially his childhood. If you are a Beatles fan, this is a must see. Go with a group of friends you will have a lot of fun.
Stacey
----------------------------------------------
I loved it! It was a walk down memory. I remember, as a very young child, my mom sitting us down in front of the TV to watch the Ed Sullivan show! Sent chills down my spine!!! The performance was great. I am so happy we went.
Suzi
-----------------------------------------------
This was a great show. More like a LIVE documentary and great music.
Lynn
-----------------------------------------------
Your show JUST IMAGINE is truly PHENOMENAL.  We have been to your Friday show for 2 consecutive weeks now. YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY A TALENTED MAN AND VIVIDLY ENTERTAINING GROUP with a great story to tell  that captivates your audience!  More power to your show!!!
Mariel
-----------------------------------------------
Phenomenal! Tim - John?? If he were to be with us today, it would be difficult to tell them apart. Tim has mastered the performance down to a “T” plus he has charisma and a striking personality to top it all off. We plan on returning and inviting family and friends, a performance that should not be missed!
John

I was visiting Los Angeles, last week, and I wanted to see a unique and different show, so I choose,"Just Imagine" What a phabulous show, I mean phab. First of all, my friend Cindy and I did NOT know what to expect, we loved the music, and I thought we were really seeing John Lennon, what an amazing performer. I loved that he was so engaging with the audience. I learned alot about Lennon, and his inspiration for writing all those amazing songs. What a , " Flashback in Time!" I loved it.
Patti
-------------------------------------------------
This was a wonderful show. We had great seats (though any seat looked good), and oh so comfortable. Tim Piper has written a show with info I did not know prior about John Lennon. His renditions of the music was excellent, and Greg Piper, Don Butler,Morley Bartnoff, and Don Poncher were a wonderful band. I saw the play 2 days ago, and I am still on a "high" from it. I was with 2 other people, and we all loved "Just Imagine."
Lori
--------------------------------------------------
This show was incredible. The performer had John Lennon to a tee and the band were exceptional musicians. They truly captured the whole Beatle 60's/70's experience. We have been raving about the show and highly recommending it to anyone we speak to. It was a wonderful, entertaining evening.
Alice
---------------------------------------------------
I sat in the front row, right in front of the piano that John Lennon was playing, and I say "John Lennon" because I really felt like I was sitting right in front of John Lennon. I am a huge John Lennon/Beatles fan, and the person playing John Lennon in this production truly sounded like, acted like, and sang just like the man himself; I had shivers running up and down my spine and was moved to tears several times during the show. I can't stop raving about it to anyone who will listen to me, and will definitely plan on coming back again; this show truly blew me away!
Rob
---------------------------------------------------
We loved it!! It was a very good show...captured the excitement and intensity of the Beatles and John Lennon era, beyond pure nostalgia. Excellent musicianship from "John" and a superb band... like having a private John Lennon show.
Elaine and Howard
----------------------------------------------------
We took my Mom for her birthday as she LOVES the Beatles. Tim Piper was Great! He told John's story and the band was really into it. The sound system was incredible. My Mom loved it and that's all that mattered. She loved hearing stories about John and his life and the music brought her back to her youth. It was an older crowd that was kind of quiet but they all enjoyed the show. My girlfriend and I both really liked it too, as I grew up with music from the Beatles, I knew 90% of the songs they sang.
Vicki
----------------------------------------------------
Everything about this show and venue were beyond my expectations. I had one of the best evenings I have had in a long time!!!!! I didn't want John Lennon to leave.......
Mary
----------------------------------------------------
The band was very good and their appreciation for John Lennon came through.
Bert
----------------------------------------------------
It was a great show. the band was excellent as well as the main performer, Tim Piper, the venue was great and the seats were very comfortable anyone who loves the beatles will love this show
Beverly
-----------------------------------------------------
Excellent show. More than two hours long, great songs, great entertainment. Would highly recommend.
Sam
-----------------------------------------------------
Tim Piper and his band put on a great entertaining show, especially after intermission, he walked around with a guitar and crooned people at their seats, even sang to people in the back area. We had a great time watching the show Tim is very energetic, and a great storyteller. I highly recommend this show for Beatle and non-Beatle fans as there is a story told about the life and career of John Lennon.
Ellen
----------------------------------------------------
Really nice event. I have to admit that after seeing Lennon on Broadway in NY back in 2005, it took me a little bit getting warmed up. Once I got past that, it was wonderful. Great songs, great band and terrific performance. The venue was perfect. Highly recommend for any Lennon fan!!
Jill
-----------------------------------------------------
What a great show! The band was excellent as well as the main performer, Tim Piper, the venue was great and the seats were very comfortable anyone who loves the beatles will love this show!

------------------------------------------------------
This WAS a tribute to John Lennon. It was quite intimate. We almost felt like John was there talking with us. I especially liked when "John" was walking around talking and singing right out with the audience. And, of course, the music and singing were great!
Alice
-------------------------------------------------------
The show was really great. Tim Piper's singing was super and his band was awesome. It was very nostalgic for me and also informative.

Bought
tickets for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day. We are both tremendous fans of Lennon as we both grew up with The Beatles music. I read reviews on Goldstar before buying the tickets and I was convinced this was a show I wanted us to see. I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW MUCH WE LOVED IT!!! While sitting in my very comfortable seat enjoying the show I swore I was experiencing an actual Lennon concert. It was weird!!! The last two songs brought me to tears. Personally I think Tim Piper channels Lennon. I would see it again and I've been telling everyone to GO SEE IT!!!
Lisa
--------------------------------------------------------
Great performance by "John Lennon" and his band! Loved the audience interaction.
Eric
--------------------------------------------------------
I was taking my boyfriend on an extended Valentine's Day celebration on February 21st, as he had taken me away on a wonderful weekend on Valentine's weekend. I wanted to do something special for him and I heard rave reviews about Just Imagine: A Tribute to John Lennon. We sat in the Abbey Road section and we were delighted to literally have the table in the very first row, practically center. At first when the show opened and Tim, the man who portrayed John Lennon came on stage, he did something first that I won't tell you, so as not to give it away to ruin it for you and it gave us the impression that we were going to see the evolution of John Lennon. Tim did not disappoint us. Not only did he look and sing just like John Lennon, he was the ultimate performer. He created the magic of John Lennon and told the story. He was brilliant and the musicians that accompanied him were spot on as well. Great ensemble, great and unexpected Sunday afternoon. I would highly highly recommend this to anyone whether a fan or not. See it!
Anne

--------------------------------------------------------
If you like the Beatles, you'll love this tour through John Lennon's life, from his first gig in Germany to his days in the Dakota in NYC. Bring ear plugs for some of the loud songs. Tim Piper did his research. Great singing, a real pro. Great historical pictures supporting the thorough dialogue. A must see!
Harry
--------------------------------------------------------

I surprised my husband with the tickets and we both really enjoyed the show. Terrific band. Tim is very talented and we learned a few new things about John Lennon along the way. Great seats, great venue, good street parking on Sundays. GO SEE THIS SHOW!
Jackie
--------------------------------------------------------

We went to the Sunday show and just loved the music and the story of John Lennon. My wife has already called her friends so that they are able to enjoy the Tribute to John Winston Lennon.
Tim
--------------------------------------------------------

The show was very well done. Tim Piper has a strong voice and many of the songs were superbly done. All in all it was very entertaining....a great night out!
Trent
--------------------------------------------------------

The people that I sent to Just Imagine stated that it was one of the best shows that they had seen this year. The venue was intimate and inviting and they were able to interact with the performer-a four star event.
Anne
--------------------------------------------------------

I have now seen Tim's show twice. Tim is excellent. He is as close as you will get to the real Lennon. I highly recommend this show to anyone over fifteen. Overall, a great entertaining way to spend an evening or afternoon.
Juliet
--------------------------------------------------------

Tim Piper was magnificent as John Lennon. It was good to get background and information on Johns personal life, including what inspired songs he wrote, his relationship with Paul, the dynamics of the group, and his personal relationships with loved ones. All was told in a storytellers type of fashion. The band was top notch with Tim looking and sounding a lot like John. Good crowd interaction from Tim. Nice intimate venue to see it in. A very enjoyable show and highly recommended for any fan of the Beatles or John Lennon. You will not be dissapointed.
Melanie
--------------------------------------------------------

Tim Piper and the band were great. They worked very hard and covered lots of territory. Had a great time. Thoroughly enjoyed this event. Well paced and performed. A real trip down memory lane.
Barry
--------------------------------------------------------

Great show! "John" did a great job at telling the late legend's story (a very touching one at that) and he was a great performer!
Bert
--------------------------------------------------------

Very cool show! Fantastic job on the vocals as well as the back up music. The information between sons was very interesting. Don't miss this one.
Sally
--------------------------------------------------------

I took my husband who is a huge John Lennon fan thinking he would enjoy it and I would go along with him. OMG, it was such a great show!
The music was great and learning more about John's life was a bonus. I plan to go again, it was that good. Anyone who is a John Lennon fan must see it!
Susue

The show was filled with magical moments. Tim Piper is spot on as John Lennon...
Philip
--------------------------------------------------------

It was a wonderful evening of remembering John Lennon and his music. From the moment Tim Piper walked on stage, he became John Lennon. The incredible talent of the band completed the show. I have been telling all my friends that they need to see this fantastic show!

In my opinion you should run, not walk, to this event. You are going to enjoy this show whether or not you are a Beatles/Lennon fan. Tim Piper is awesome as John Lennon!! We experience his life: good bad and ugly through his "memories" & music. The venue is perfect. It is small enough to feel "intimate", but large enough to comfortably accommodate the guests. The band is terrific!! For those with delicate hearing, I would recommend bringing ear plugs. There is a bit of sing-along which is always fun. I have read the negative reviews about the service. Honestly, we did not order the buffet, but our server "Adam" was the best with our drinks. Tim Piper stays around to mingle after the show, which is adds to the enjoyment. In today's world where money is tight; this show exceeded our expectations. We had so much fun that my husband & I have every intention of seeing it again.
Sandi
--------------------------------------------------------
We thoroughly enjoyed it. He captures John Lennon and his music. It was good enough to go to Broadway.
Mary

---------------------------------------------------------
a beautiful and touching portrayal of John Lennon. Seeing photo clips and hearing his life story was wonderful. And of course, what need I say about listening to all the music. Grand!
Annette
----------------------------------------------------------
This was my second time and I loved it just as much. See my past reviews. The venue is fantastic, sound super, Tim (John Lennon) as good and personable as ever. This should be a Vegas show its so good. As long as you are a Lennon fan and loved the Beatles you can't miss it. Took my 23 year old daughter who was amazed. The band is great and if you ever have seen the fab four (who have a vegas show) you will never want to see them again.
Goldie
-----------------------------------------------------------
Fantastic! entertaining, terrific band, historical. Best performance I've seen this year.
Nikki
-----------------------------------------------------------
We thought the show was fantastic. We got great seats, right in front. The stories were great, making the songs more meaningful! We recommended the show to all our family and friends. Hoping to go back again.
Rita
-----------------------------------------------------------
Do yourself a favor and see this spectaculer show.
Ken
-----------------------------------------------------------
Excellent! Sound was great, as were the songs.
Audrey
-----------------------------------------------------------
The guy that played John Lennon looked like him and sounded like him. He and his band were great. It took me and everyone else back to the historical life of the Beatles and explained why certain songs were written by Lennon. I will recommend it to everyone.
Henry
-----------------------------------------------------------
Historical, memorable, and lots of fun!! Outstanding performance by Tim Piper and band. I am recommending this to all my friends!
June
------------------------------------------------------------
This is indeed a rousing tribute to john lennon. Tim Piper is obviously passionate about th material, and this makes for quite a satisfying and emotionally charged production. If you're a beatle or lennon fan, do not miss this!
Evette
-----------------------------------------------------------
The six of us loved the show. Tim Piper was great -- sounded just like John Lennon. His band did an excellent job. The best part was hearing the stories about John's life and career. Not a bad seat in the theater. I've been recommending it to friends.
Tim
-----------------------------------------------------------
I highly recommend this show for anyone who likes Lennon and the Beatles. Tom Piper was fantastic. You're taken from Lennon's early life up thru the success of the Beatles and onto Lennon's solo career up until his untimely passing. The show is touching at times, moving at others and a whole lot of fun throughout. GO SEE THIS SHOW! It's a great night out and a lot of fun with a group.
Gene

--------------------------------------------------------------
I really enjoyed the show. It struck me that this show is as close as I'll ever get to hearing a live version of (Just Like) Starting Over, Woman, Beautiful Boy, and Watching the Wheels. Tim is a very good storyteller, he brought real emotion to John's life.
Lucy
----------------------------------------------------------------
This tribute is a must-see event – not only for Lennon/Beatles fans, but for anyone who appreciates a great story. We were blown away by the performance – it truly exceeded our expectations. Tim Piper is absolutely amazing and does an incredible Lennon. The other cast members are fabulous as well: Musicians Greg Piper, Morley Bartnoff, Don Butler and Don Poncher are flawless and their love for their work is apparent. This show is so much more than a tribute and is filled with many surprises. You will be swept away during the show and astonished by the incredible re-creation of an evening with John Lennon. We definitely plan on returning. Go see “Just Imagine” – a splendid time is TRULY guaranteed for all!
Janet
-----------------------------------------------------------------
We attended "Just Imagine" for the Sunday Matinee. The seating is great! We loved the show!! We are still talking about it 2 days later. We had a wonderful afternoon and would suggest you don't miss this event, if you are a Lennon fan, or not. Its a walk threw a rock revolution.
Jenna
------------------------------------------------------------------
Awesome show! Sounded and looked like John Lennon. Really enjoyed the story that ran beneath the music. I learned more about the Beatles and John Lennon then I had read in several books.
Don
-------------------------------------------------------------------
What a fun evening! If you were a "flower child" or even if you are young,if you love the Beatles music this is a fantastic show for you to enjoy. Loved the insight we got into Lennon's background coupled with the video of what was happening in history concurrent with the lives of John Lennon and the Beatles. The entire show was "far out"!
Sara
-------------------------------------------------------------------
PHENOMENAL!!! I cannot express how AMAZING this show was! KUDOS to Tim Piper and everyone in the band, production etc. that put this masterpiece together! I was in AWE from the moment it started! I felt like I was transformed to a live Beatles Concert. The passion and performance was Awesome! So moving that I was even brought to tears at one point during the show! (And I am too young to even have experienced Beatlemania!) The clips of pictures in the background are a personal touch that make you feel like you are really there. The story telling and History was very Informative and moving! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this show to anyone that can attend as many times as possible!
Andy
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Impersonation of John Lennon. Very interesting info explaining origination of lyrics to each song sung. Excellent choice and much like a concert. Any level seat is fine.
Earl
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Great evening, excellent singing & band! I loved having a window into John Lennon's life. Six of us went. We all enjoyed it ! Loved the venue. Incredible show! Very talented musicians! Tim Piper was amazing! We sang throughout the whole show!!!!!!
Angel
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Fantastic show and retrospective on John Lennon the man and his spectacular career and music! I felt as though John had come back from the other side to tell us his life story and share some of his favorite music. The personal life stories were insightful and interesting. Tim Piper looks and sounds amazingly like John. His band was great and many in the audience were singing along to many songs. A great show you shouldn't miss if you're a Beatle or John Lennon fan! You'll have a great time!
Jimmy
--------------------------------------------------------------------
We had a great time at this event. The performers put out big time...great effort and they were very talented...especially the band members.

What a way to spend an evening! The story was interesting, the music was fantastic, the venue was comfortable. We talked about the performance that evening and following day. We left feeling so good and happy. Already telling friends and family about the production.
Jill
-------------------------------------------------------------------
We absolutely loved the play and wonderful music!
Jenny
-------------------------------------------------------------------
It was excellent and Tim did a wonderful job of both story telling & singing Lennon songs. His band was great!! Highly recommend.
Colleen
-------------------------------------------------------------------
We loved it! The music was great, and so were the personal stories told by the Lennon character. If you are a Beatles or John Lennon fan, then you will definitely enjoy this show. The theatre is quite nice; very relaxing setting with comfy chairs around tables. It's a medium-sized space, so almost all seats are excellent. The band is very good and Tim is a pretty convincing John Lennon. I brought my kids (teens) and they sang along to every song. It was a really enjoyable evening out.
Annette
----------------------------------------------------------------
Tim and Working Class Hero, Anne and I really enjoyed today's show. It was very refreshing hearing John's songs performed live. Your characterization was very believable. All musicians performed well. Hearing Staring Over cuts was a special treat since I've only heard the recordings. Watching the Wheels was my favorite. We'll recommend the show to our friends. The show reminded me of the excitement of seeing the Beatles for the first time on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964 when I was 8.
Vernon and Anne
-----------------------------------------------------------------
I saw the show on 1/1/2010 and I was absolutely blown away!!! I'm seeing it tonight again.
Diana
-----------------------------------------------------------------
OK! So the Pipers are angels that fell off of silver clouds in heaven…..Tim was amazing and the show very moving. I cried like a baby through the whole thing! We had an awesome time!
Ericka
------------------------------------------------------------------
I wasn't sure what to expect about the show, and I was pleasantly surprised. The show was excellent. Great music and great acting!
Angele
-------------------------------------------------------------------
I thought it was a fantastic show. I really didn't know what it was going to be like but I love the Beatles and didn't care. I really enjoyed the way he intertwined some history about Lennon between songs. Music selection was great!
Genevieve
-------------------------------------------------------------------
After 3 minutes or so, I felt like John was returned from the dead. Tim Piper sounds so much like John(who I did in fact see in person, more than once) that one can suspend disbelief and enjoy a "live" John Lennon show. There was even a John Lennon "heckler" who was handled by "John" as the real one would have...right on brother!! Michel, my girlfriend, usually falls asleep during any concert we go to, but not for this show. Thank you, Tim, for allowing me to enjoy John Lennon once again without tears.
Eric
-------------------------------------------------------------------
This show was awesome. Saw it twice! I highly recommend you catch this show next time it plays. This is John Lennon coming back from the dead performing and storytelling his life to you. Awesome!!!!!
Brian
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Unbelievably believable- that is what keeps coming to mind. One has to remind one's self that John Lennon is NOT standing on the stage at times. Wonderful show! I would see it again and recommend it to anyone who loved John's music. The musicianship was amazing and though I am not a musician by any stretch, nor a perfectly tuned listener, I thought I detected some wee changes in some of the music at times from the original, which I really appreciated since the musicians were very capable, and so respectful of John's work that it seemed 'quite right' that they should. Or am I wrong??? I sensed that it was not supposed really try to emulate perfectly how John might be or what he would say and do, but rather, that you get enough of it so it tells the story realistically- I did not feel Piper was acting in some ways- certainly not OVER acting and it was just right therefore. He kind of gets out of the way and John keeps appearing here and there. He even got the stance of John as he played...really nicely done!
Liz
-------------------------------------------------------------------
The show was excellent. It was like going back in time and remebering where you when heard those Beatle songs. The show gave the audience a more personal view of John Lennon which we didn't know before. Mr. Piper did a wonderful job along with the rest of band!

Fabulous show, very original. Being a big beatle fan, it was like John Lennon being there. Will pass the word.

. . . a great show. The writer(s) deserves kudos for writing a good piece in which the telling of the events in John Lennon's life are interspersed with the music and lyrics he wrote. The night I went it seemed to take the audience a bit of time to warm to the character. Perhaps that was because some had difficulty seeing Lennon in an actor's hands. But the audience did get into a groove and sang along with the tunes when prompted. The show was sold out when I went, so I urge you to buy a ticket before it leaves (whenever that will be). This is a very entertaining reflection on a man who wasn't perfect but yet was still someone we admired, for both his on-and-off stage actions. Great work guys!

Really enjoyed the music and the story behind the performance. Tim Piper did a wonderful job in engaging the audience. Morley was hugely entertaining as well. Would love to go see it again!!

---------------------------------------------------------------------
I went to see "Just Imagine" with my boyfriend last night and it was an amazing show. I grew up listening to The Beatles with my dad and it was great to hear the stories behind the music. Tim Piper and the band had great energy and passion for the music. They really engaged the audience and encouraged us to sing along. I highly recommend this show to anyone, even if you are not familiar with the music of The Beatles and John Lennon.
Stephanie
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A highly emotional and wonderfully entertaining evening of Lennon/Beatles music. A ten on a scale of 1-10. Tim Piper was John Lennon. His back-up of two guitars, drums, and keyboard (as well as his own guitar and keyboard) was outstanding.
Duke
----------------------------------------------------------------------
FANTASTIC! - it was such a great performance and was the perfect topper to the holiday weekend.  omg the band really kicked ass as chapin would say. Tim was like a fine wine....really brilliant!  and Greg, i could watch all day long - he tickles my heart.. all those years of dedication to the music....... the PIPER energy!!!
Candy
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
It blew me away. The best recreation of any Beatles cover band or anything like it I have ever seen. I also learned so much about John Lennon and what he did that I did not know already plus Tim Piper sounds and acts like John you would think it was the real thing. I recomend this play to everone especially if you loved the Beatles music!
Hank
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
This show was more than I expected. I loved the band, the music and "John's" narration. I especially loved when he came out to the audience.
Kat
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
My husband and I really loved it. The lead singer was as good as J.L. and the band was great too.
Melanie
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Excellent on many levels: Musically, presentation of John Lennon by the lead, story line, interaction with the audience, intimate venue size with a total experience feeling
Gershon
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
A wonderful evening. The small venue made every seat choice. It was a joyous, entertaining, informative, interactive experience I would recommend to any fan of the music of the Beatles and especially John Lennon.
Fannie
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
A story told by John Lennon himself... someone after the show exclaimed "...as if he lived!"... I am a Beatles fan, and I enjoy their music. However, I can't say that I am crazy for Beatles... As a "casual" Beatles aficionado, I was shocked by how this event motivated people and how the audience started singing along, communicating with the actor and, at some point, even believing it was John himself (may be this is a part of the whole Christmas spirit, but...). If you are like me, a "casual" listener, just go there for music - they are performing it admiringly.
Marianna
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wow. Great show. Top knotch musicians. A rock and roll show that describes John Lennens' early life relations with his mother and how he looked for that love in life...Yoko. Really neat talk about collaboration with Paul where "John would say this is what I added to his song, and play it, and you would realize that it added more spice to Pauls effort on some of his songs and vice versa. Great rock and roll show with a little history and background over his career. show is popular so get there with time to spare to get seats you would like.
Bill
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was as if John Lennon had returned from the grave to talk about his life and play some of his favorite music one last time. Tim Piper was fantastic as John Lennon and his supporting band is top notch. I was thoroughly entertained and impressed. Astounding!
Thomas
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
What a great event! John Lennon truly was among us again. There is not a bad seat in the house in this 99-seat Equity Waiver theatre but be forewarned: it is loud. At the ticket box/candy stand there are ear plugs and the reason becomes apparent within a moment of the play/concert starting. So grab a pair, clear your throat to sing along and enjoy!
Clair
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
An intimate and wonderful experience as Tim and the Band told the life story of the "misunderstood Beatle". I came away more informed, entertained, and more enlightened then before I embarked on this adventure. Well, well worth it if you get a chance.
Paul
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tim Piper is Great as John Lennon. This is unique from all other types of Concerts. The Visual efects were fantastic. The setting is small and quaint which makes it seem as if John Lennon is in you living room. The band is rignt on the money and captured the Beatles spirit for each song. Thank you Tim Piper, cast and crew for this wonderful concept in bringing us a musical tribute we will remember for the rest of our lives.

Loved the show - Tim Piper looks and sounds like John Lennon - the music was fabulous...what an enjoyable evening. I recommend all to see this show.
Gina
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
This show was fabulous way above expectations. A lot of the reviews mentioned that if you closed your eyes you felt as though John Lennon was actuallly there....forget about closing your eyes....not necessary there was no imagining here ...Tim looks just like him! All 5 of us felt like we were in an intimate setting with the icon himself as he would be now at this stage of his life. We found out things we didn't know before and took a tour down memory lane and all 5 of us loved every minute. The entire band was awesome......peace!
Binnie
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
A show not to be missed. Tim Piper and Working Class Heroes succeed at transporting the audience into a John Lennon zone. Piper does a phenomenal job of channeling John Lennon. The simultaneous multi-media presentation compliments the live performances, painting a picture of how John Lennon's life was shaped. Piper's well placed first person account of Lennon's emotional life makes for a whole performance. This is a show that could easily be seen again (and again!)
Jan
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
This event was VERY enjoyable. The performer used the "first" person throughout, as though he WAS John Lennon--and that made it more believable. The theater is small but delightful and we enjoyed everything.
Linda
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
I took a couple of friends and we all were blown away at how amazing the band sounded. It was a blast!
Goldie
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
My husband and I attend this event on Saturday night. We both absolutely loved it. The band and Tim P were phenominal. We sang along to all the songs we knew and just had a ball. We had dinner at the French restaurant down the street before which was delicious. It was a fabulous date night.
Connie
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Enjoyed it immensely. They really captured the mood of the 60's.
Juliet
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Great show. I was 11 when the Beatles went on Ed Sullivan so this is pretty much a review of my life. Except I wasn't always cognizant during this era and I learned a lot of stuff that I never really thought about until Tim brilliantly brought it all to life from an insiders vantage point. It was like having John Lennon over for tea. The show was much better than I was expecting it to be.
Greg
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Great Great Great!!! I left with a smile on my face and a song in my heart.
Tim was amazing but his musicians band were just as amazing. We are planning to go again and this time take the kids (teens).
Lorie
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Great show. Brought back such memories. The star nailed John Lennon's essence and the band brought back the Beatles.
Terri - 12/11/09
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tim Piper is the reincarnation of John himself. It's more than just another impressive tribute. Tim's impressions of John in full "spassie" face and all his gentle performance stances and vocals are absolutely brilliant and astonishingly real. You forget that he is no longer with us when you see the performance and as you hear the voice of John, listening to his stories of Paul and the others... kind of eerie in a good way. The band is amazing and the imagery is incredibly heartfelt.
Rick
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The music endures and is played very well here. John's story is well told. The performance was even more poignant in that we saw a special show on the 29th anniversary of his death. A moving experience.
Sara
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I Love John Lennon and The Beatles! I thought Tim gave an "Awesome" performance of John Lennon. I was almost in tears because i felt i was actually watching John himself! I was in such high from his performance, the music, I will certainly attend again before he leaves! Thank you for such a wonderful experience! As a Lennon fan it was the best feeling!
Dennis
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tim Piper was AWESOME! All four of us thought we were watching and listening to John Lennon! Music was unbelievable, outstanding! We would recommend this show to all.
Andrea
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Simply amazing. I got choked up.
Dave
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This was so amazing .. I have seen it 2x already ..about to buy tickets for the 3rd time!! Tim Piper and his band is simply perfect...sometimes you had to remind yourself .... that Tim Piper wasn't John Lennon ...Totally worth it!!
Jim
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wow, Tim Piper IS John Lennon, circa post-“Imagine” and pre-Mai Ping – NYC based, more mature and reflective, still impish but not as overtly revolutionary as the naked album cover and “Give Peace A Chance.” In other words, the kinda guy you’d like to spend an evening with. Piper/Lennon changes into five or six different jackets to represent the various phases of his musical career, starting from his earliest childhood to help explain the complex and sometimes troubled superstar he would become. The five-piece rock band is comprised of grizzled veterans of a type only found in L.A., hoary sexagenarian session men who know their way around an eight-bar stanza and complement the Lennon oeuvre with both the energy (“Twist and Shout”) and subtlety (“Strawberry Fields”) it demands, presenting 20 or so classics during the evening.
A large rear video screen brings a nice added dimension to the performance. The small general admission theatre is well-maintained and sharply tiered, without a bad seat in the house. Here’s the bottom line: I closed my eyes, drifting off for a few moments to the music. When I opened them a minute later, JOHN-FREAKIN-LENNON was standing a scant ten feet in front of me singing “Help” or “I Am the Walrus” or, or …

What a wonderful show! The band was outstanding and the vzcals were incredible. John would be proud of the tribute!
Jan

I never seen the beatles, but i have seen Paul four times. I wish i could have seen John in concert. Of course that is impossible. Tim Piper made me believe i was watching John Lennon. Excellant performance. I have many friends and family members that are Beatle fans that i will be highly recommending IMAGINE! Great show!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A unique experience, and in all its simplicity, one of the most moving musicals I have ever attended. It combines the music and life-story of a legend with an underlying message that it delivers brilliantly. The show starts low key, and bit by bit it builds itself up to a standing ovation.

I went with a friend who is a die hard Lennon fan. We had a BLAST! The band is fantastic, the storytelling was amazing and the performance was superb! My friend is VERY picky about his John Lennon music, and he came away from the show wanting to attend the following night as well!
Carolyn
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree with all the superlatives expressed here. Tim Piper and his band do a wonderful job of bringing Lennon to life before your eyes! When the lights are low, and the music is cranked up (which it usually is, superbly so), from certain angles (and all the seats are excellent!), you actually feel as if Lennon has rejoined us in a most intimate & wonderful setting. I was a bit skeptical going in, but I was blown away when I left. I would have been happy if the performance lasted another hour or two. The music is phenomenal. GO while you still can! My son (11) loved it! great, great, great. No bad seat in the house. Hope it says for years!!!!
Susan

An absolute knockout performance by Tim Piper under the musical direction of Greg Piper. All band members of Working Class Hero are world class musicians! Outstanding direction by Steve Altman.... This show is an amazing experience all around.. GO! Undeniably enjoyable for everyone, particularly Beatles fans who can see certain songs that were never performed live.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Incredible! I am a 55 yerar old die hard Beatles fan and my favorite was John Lennon. After seeing the Fab Faux i.e. not the Fab Four who are mediocre in comparison (check out u tube and thier web if your not familiar) I never thought anything could compare and get my Beatle adrenalin going. Tim Piper is simply outstanding and is as close as you could IMAGINE as Lennon. He looks, sounds, acts, and has all the mannerisms of John including Johns habit of chewing gum during certain renditions incl imagine. I was expecting a little corniness with a tribute perfomance like this, instead I was elated. The band which is very good basically backs him up with Tim on guitar or piano and you only hear Beatle or Lennon songs featuring Lennons voice. he even comes out in the audience with his acousic guitar and takes requests. I chose "Girl" from Rubber Soul and he was happy to play the song. If you request a McCartney he will politely let you know that it was his buddy Paul's song so you need to know the Lennon tunes. I look forward to taking my 23 year old daughter who I know will love the show.
Sunshine
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fabulous. Tim Piper is amazing. I felt like I was listening to John Lennon. The musicians were also incredible. It brought back alot of memories of that time period. I learned a few new things about John Lennon's life. My friend and I both said we would go again and are going to organize a group of others because we enjoyed it so much.

Can't tell you how much we enjoyed the show . It was great, and Dakota who plays cello, got out his "Beatles" song book for cello and began to try and play them, even though there were notes he does not know. So inspiring!

Tim Piper gave a great performance!. Was a great experience and night out with my Mom. Would definitely recommend it to any John Lennon or Beatles Fan, or just a fan of music.
Irene
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Absolutely incredible. I've seen a lot of other shows dedicated to The Beatles and such--including Fab Four--and I have to say that this was by far the best. The performers do an amazing rendetion of a lot of Beatles / John Lennon songs, and their passion just oozes through. Go see it!
Diana
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I highly recommend seeing this show to any fan of Lennon or the Beatles! I dropped by during sound check and stayed for the show. Tim Piper, who I haven't meet before was very gracious to me and made me feel welcomed. The band is superb. Don, you are great and your licks, spot on. This is a highly talented group of people coming together to create a wonderful and entertaining show! Don't miss It!

Great music and lots of fun. This show is mostly music with some spoken word as Tim Piper as John Lennon recounts his experiences with The Beatles and after. If you love the Beatles or John Lennon, don't miss it. You'll love it!

The show was AMAZING last night!!!! Tim and Greg were amazing. I said a quick hello to Tim and told him how amazing I thought it was...My girlfriends and I were talking about the whole night about how on point his performance was. I told him I knew the Piper's were a super talented family but I never knew just how talented! ... just outstanding!!!

My wife & I saw you back in Hollywood in either 2002 or 03. Flipped when we learned you were back in LA and saw you last month. Bringing Mom 82 and close friends tonight. We will be in front row once again. Absolutely terrific performance Tim. Both Julian and Sean should be proud of how you honor John.
Bob
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I really enjoyed this show VERY much. Tim Piper did a very convincing job of portraying John Lennon, and the band onstage with him was great. Tim's pitch was near perfect! The show had the intimate feeling of going to a small venue concert. My 15 year old son went along (begrudgingly...because he is not a Beatles fan), and he actually enjoyed it. We all especially enjoyed the narration and insight into John Lennon's thoughts, reasons for songs he wrote, and emotions. Go see it.....WELL WORTH the price of admission.
Debby
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tim Piper is an awesome John Lennon! My friends and I really enjoyed the music, the narrative and the experience. Highly recommended!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Worth every penny. Take yourself back to a night with all the songs you always loved -- remember the friends you shared them with. Well performed and nice that they left out the sad ending that is all too familiar to all of us.

Jo
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We loved it!! There were 8 of us, old enough to see the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show. Tim Piper was amazing and if you had your eyes closed, you'd swear it was John Lennon. The Band was also excellent. We will recommend it to everyone.
Maxwell
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was a very good experience! We went with a group and all loved the energy. Cast was great and really looked like they were having a great time too! Don't miss this one!
Nancy
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We were truly impressed with the shows ability to take you there. The band was incredibly tight, well rehearsed and was never to loud. It really felt you were in a theatre with the real John Lennon performing. I was part of Willy Russels ( John Paul George Ringo and Bert) show back in England in the 70's. It was the 1st of the Beatle shows and certainly would have been better if we had Tim Piper back then, he really nails it. I met John and Paul when I was very young and recorded an album at Ringo's house in surrey which John gave to him. Tim really personifies John like knowbody else. The show makes for a wonderfully evening.
Bob and Jennifer
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I had the pleasure to work with the group getting everything stage ready and through the rehearsals. I later took my "Beatle head" wife Joyce to the premier. I could see this show a thousand times . Tim IS John Lennon! Let me just say that any one who is a true "Beatle head", particularly a "John head", HAS to experience this event .The playhouse is intimate, and the sound is great! ..... love you guys ... o yeah, I am taking my "Beatle head" daughter next week, we can't wait. yeah,yeah,yeah...........yeah!

This was a wonderful event. I went with my husband & 10year old girl. I was a little worried if this show was appropriate for her - it definitely was. She learned alot about John Lennon this evening plus she loves the beatles. Tim Piper was great. His band was fantastic! The whole place was singing along. Thank you gold star for another great event 10+ A MUST SEE!

This was wonderful! A must see! And I thought the music was perfect!
Nancy
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I went with two girlfriends, each from a different decade, and we all had an outstanding time. Amazing concert - the band and Tim Piper were able to bring back all the emotions of listening to John. I found out a few things that I did not know and I felt emotions that I had not felt in a long time. Want to go back and relive the experience.
Kathy
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
First of all there is no bad seat in this theater. I was sitting towards the top and as the show began I felt a presence to my right. I grabbed my husbands' hand, John Lennon was right beside me! My heart beat faster and my mouth went dry. It was a spectacular way to open the show and it got even better as the night progressed. Don Poncher's drumming was fantastic along with the rest of the band. Tim made me believe I was seeing John Lennon. The music and visual effects were great. A wonderful way to spend an evening. You must go, go, go to see this show.
Mary
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I saw the show on Saturday, Oct. 17. It was truly impressive musically, with the live band giving such power to songs I had mostly only heard on recordings. Tim gives a very interesting angle to the John Lennon story and it is a thoroughly enjoyable evening in a great setting.
Craig
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Show was GREAT! Don Butler's contribution to the overall sound, tone and VIBE of the show was invaluable to say the least! He was like a chameleon . Don's interpretation of Harrison was beyond anything I expected. I think Tim's brother Greg was so "in the pocket" Paul would be out of a job (if he still had that one ). The sound was PERFECT! Not too loud and enough to hear the music as it was intended ( sometimes the effects are as much of the overall tone as the melody ) and every little nuance and cool stuff ( Leslie simulation or Sitar which was uber cool! ) was very audible in that venue. Hats off to the sound guy. Even Vickie commented on the clarity (she's not a fan of loud rock-don't know how I got involved with a girl that doesn't like LOUD.... for the venue and for the sake of the great material, the volume was perfect. Thanks so much , we really, really, really enjoyed it. It was an insight to the life of someone we think we knew, then realize we didn't know him at all (until this show anyway). It was a wonderful experience.
Rick
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Outstanding. It's like John never went away.
Nick
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A hallelujah celebration of the life and music of John Lennon! Flawless tribute presentation by Tim Piper and the band Working Class Hero [Greg Piper, bass guitar; Don Butler, lead guitar; Morley Bartnoff, keyboardest; Don Poncher, drums]. The audience is caught up in singing along. For the die-hard Lennon fan, this is a spiritual happening. Tim Piper makes you believe he is John Lennon - the body language, vocals, costumes. The intimacy of the small theater makes you feel as if John has opened his studio for you to spend a few hours with him. This is so convincing that when it ends, you want to invite him home to continue the dialogue with John Lennon: "Say, John, I always wanted to ask you about..." The event is divided into two parts, with a 15-minute intermission. The first half covers John's beginnings with his mother, the Beatles and the cultural and personal evolutions that changed both John and world. The post-Beatles second half begins with John Lennon coming out with his acoustic guitar. He goes to the audience to sing requests and transitions into that phase of music which bared John's soul to the world. The end of the show is not about John's death, but about the celebration of what John gave us all.
Katz
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Amazing Experience! This show deserves to be playing in Las Vegas or on Broadway. I have now seen the show twice and it truly feels like being at a John Lennon concert. The band is amazing and if you close your eyes it is impossible to distinguish between the real John Lennon and Tim Piper. I am from England and have been a hardcore Lennon fan since 1962. I was completely devastated by his death in 1980, but now seeing this amazing show I get to re-live all the great memories of John. I urge you to see this show, even if you are not a fan of the Beatles or Lennon – it will blow you away.

We attended the performance on Friday Oct.16th. I have no words to describe how fabulous this John Lennon Tribute was. We were mesmerized by Tim Piper's performance as John Lennon, and impressed with how he nailed John's mannerisms, voice, song, attitude, and obviously the looks. He plants the seed in your brain of what he could've looked like in the 90's and with a "just imagine" thought of as if he were here today, speaking to you about his current thoughts through a narration of his life's up's and down's personally, and with the Beatles. The show was wonderfully put together, and left both my husband, a huge Lennon fan, and myself speaking about the show and Lennon for days afterwards.

I saw Just Imagine today. It was an amazing and extremely moving experience. It was a stellar theatre multi-media performance. I laughed and wept. and wept some more. Tim Piper as John Lennon was so powerful and passionate. I felt transported through time and deeply touched, remembering and refeeling the impact the Beatles/John Lennon have had on me, on my generation, for the past 46 years. It was an added bonus to be sitting next to Tim and Greg's mother, Beverly, who is such a sweet charming supportive mother. I know she must be so proud of her boys. I'm not mom, but I'm so proud of them. and thankful.

Great story of John Lennon, Tom is very passionate about the character, and great impersonator. The music was wonderful! I went with my husband & 10yr. girl. I was a little worried if this show was appropriate for her it diffently was. She learned alot about John Lennon this evening plus she loves the beatles.Tim Piper was great. His band was fantastic! the whole place was singing along. This was a wonderful event. 10+ A MUST SEE!

I attended JUST IMAGINE two weeks ago and was astounded. I have taught theatre for twenty years and was totally amazed with this piece. I am usually dragged to anything having to do with the BEATLES so I'm sick of just plain old concerts. This was a unique show. Graphics were used to historically pull the audience into the time period or to tap into some brain cells to remind us about the time period we had experienced. Tim Piper's monologues explaining what was happening during the time period in which Lennon wrote the songs were informative & invigorating. I had never seen a piece like this; it was a like a concert/play. Piper's repartee was delightful and pulled the audience beautifully into the arduous times of Lennon's life and the time period in which he lived. JUST IMAGINE the fun you'll have.

I'm a diehard Beatles fan, and honestly I was a bit skeptical of the show. But I went anyway. WOW! Great music. Great performance. Great fun. At our performance, Tim came out after intermission and did a few requests---just him and an acoustic guitar. EVERYONE in the audience sang along to every word. Most of all, I didn't want it to end: the mark of a great show. If you're a Beatles fan, you CAN'T miss this!

Hello Everyone: I just want to say that I had an absolutely FANTASTIC time at the show on Sunday, October 11th. Tim IS JOHN!!!, I was sitting in an aisle and when he walked past me at the beginning of the show, I felt this energy that just moved me. OMG, the information that I learned as Tim took us through the life history of John Lennon was the best. What a wonderful tribute and celebration of an artists' life. GREAT JOB!!! I highly recommend this show.

I had the privilege to watch a rehearsal, early September 2009, and I have to say; I was absolutely amazed, enthralled and had a terrific time. . It was a vivid and beautiful experience. Tim Piper is incredible as John Lennon, he is John Lennon. The well performed music by Tim, his band, and multi media, take you away in a sensory journey through Lennon’s life. It feels so real, that you forget that John Lennon has passed. -“Incredible” This is a show that makes a trip to Los Angeles truly worth while.

I saw this show and loved it. When Tim came out at the beginning of the second act, and did requests with the audience, it was real. John Lennon was there in front of us. What a great time.

I saw the final preview show of the "Just Imagine" production and I can honestly say that ANYONE who has an interest in, or who likes/loves the Beatles and/or John Lennon absolutely must see this show. It is phenomenal! Not only an historical chronology of John's songs/music, but also a magical mystery tour of time/place events and the emotional story content/intension behind the superlative lyrics of Lennon's songs. Exciting and enlightening, especially with the film clip video projection montage on the wall above/behind the band. Tim Piper IS John Lennon. Not only does Tim look and sound EXACTLY like John, his musical emotion investment in this show and in the part are not to be missed.

I loved the part where the audience suggested songs, and Tim could come up with them at the drop of a hat! It was amazing. It showed his knowledge and his talent.

I have seen Tim Piper and Working Class Hero perform at Abbey Road on the River Festivals in Cleveland and Louisville and they are phenomenal! There is no better person or band to do John Lennon than these guys. If you're lucky enough to be able to see this show don't miss it!

I have seen a performance of two of "Beatlemania" type bands and this is far, far, better. I am not at all familiar with the lives of the Beatles as this reviewer, but after seeing the show, I gained a lot of insight into the life and personality of John Lennon. And lets face it, the music is still great and sounds even better as Mr. Piper puts his whole heart and soul into making you believe you are spending an evening with John Lennon. I really enjoyed this show. See it!
